Policies

A 50% reservation fee is required to secure all appointments.
This fee is applied toward your service total on the day of your appointment.

Reservation fees are non-refundable.

If you are unable to submit your fee online, you may schedule a time to drop off a cash reservation fee in person. An electronic receipt will be provided.

You may reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your scheduled time.

Appointments rescheduled within 24 hours are subject to a rebooking fee.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will result in the forfeiture of your reservation fee.

Repeated last-minute cancellations may require full prepayment for future appointments.

Please arrive on time to ensure you receive the full service.

Clients arriving 15+ minutes late may need to:

• switch to a shortened service, or

• reschedule entirely, if timing affects the next appointment

Late arrivals that cannot be accommodated are treated as a no-show.

If you fail to attend your appointment with no notice:

• you will forfeit your reservation fee

• a rebooking fee will be required before scheduling again

• continued no-shows may result in restricted booking access

All sales and services are final.

If you have concerns about your results, please contact me within 72 hours so I can assist you.

Please note that:

issues reported after 72 hours

issues caused by improper aftercare

issues resulting from undisclosed medical conditions

…may require an additional fee for correction.

If you purchased a Groupon voucher, please:

1. Book under the Groupon Clients category

2. Enter your voucher code on your intake form

3. Ensure your voucher is valid for the service you schedule

Your voucher will be validated and redeemed prior to your appointment.

No-shows or late cancellations will require a $20 non-refundable rebooking fee.

Failure to provide a valid code may result in appointment cancellation.

For safety, space, and insurance reasons, only the client receiving a service may enter the studio suite.

Exceptions may be made for disability or medical accommodations with prior notice.

Pets are not permitted in the studio due to Oregon health and sanitation regulations.

Service animals (as defined by the ADA — trained to perform a specific task for a disability) are welcome.

Please arrive in good health. Reschedule if you are experiencing:

• fever

• flu-like symptoms

• contagious conditions (e.g., pink eye, cold sores in active stage)

By booking, you acknowledge that all beauty services involve inherent risks, including possible:

• allergic reactions

• irritation

• sensitivities

• unexpected side effects

These risks are outlined in your Consent Form.

Clients are responsible for disclosing all medical conditions, allergies, medications, and previous adverse reactions.

All clients must complete the Electronic Consent Form and agree to all Terms & Conditions prior to receiving services.

By agreeing to these terms, you:

• confirm that you understand the risks

• release The Modern Heiress and your technician from liability related to adverse reactions

• acknowledge responsibility for providing accurate health information

• agree to follow all aftercare instructions

For safety and professionalism, The Modern Heiress reserves the right to refuse service to any client who:

• is sick or contagious

• is intoxicated

• displays inappropriate or disruptive behavior

• fails to follow studio policies

• withholds important medical information
